Business DescriptionOur Beginnings Peony & Plum is the inspired idea of owner, Susan Tom-Nellis. Susan brings a fresh approach to floral design—having grown up in colorful and casual Honolulu, HI, she fuses these island sentiments with her understanding of composition and form gained from her studies at UCLA’s prestigious Art Department. Add to the mix, Susan’s role of Creative Director for an influential Los Angeles advertising agency and you’ve got a talented woman who keeps calm under pressure. Philosophy Susan’s unique background leads to floral creations that are sophisticated yet whimsical, where traditional elements live happily alongside the unexpected. Peony & Plum’s floral arrangements are designed with more than just aesthetics in mind. When you choose our creations we believe you are “inviting” our designs to be part of your wedding.
