Business Description
Sheila has been a well-known secret weapon for celebrities, professional cheerleaders, pageant contestants, and brides since the early 1990’s. Sheila was first introduced to make-up artistry as a pageant contestant in the early ‘90’s. She wanted to compete at the elite level, but didn’t have the money to pay for a make-up artist. She developed her skills by watching other make-up artists and modifying their techniques to achieve the look she wanted. Soon other contestants were hiring her for their own pageant competition. Sheila really enjoyed watching her client’s self-esteem blossom as she created their personal best look. Soon she found that her “hobby” of hair and makeup artistry filled her weekends and she was receiving more requests than she could accept! So she left her corporate job as an estimating engineer and decided to follow her passion. Sheila launched her new business full-time in 1998 and has been providing make-up artist services and products to happy, beautiful clients ever since! Today Sheila travels nationally and internationally working with women from all backgrounds helping them to create their own personal best look. She is the official hair stylist and makeup artist for the Houston Texans Cheerleaders and her work has been featured on The Super Bowl XXXVIII Entertainers, CMA Awards, MTV’s True Life, MTV’s MADE and in such magazines as The Knot, ESPN Magazine, Muscle Media, Texas Women, H Texas, Teen, Your Prom, Pageantry, Lifestyles, and "E" TV. Sheila continues to work with pageant contestants as a “thank you” to the industry that launched her career. Sheila’s philosophy of make-up is to combine easy application techniques with high-quality products to produce a variety of looks for anyone! Sheila personally trains all of her consultants and her artistic team to ensure high-quality service. She also loves offering one-on-one training and workshops for clients to help them develop their own personal make-up skills. Sheila firmly believes that anyone can achieve the look they want by combining high-quality products with the right application techniques. Whether you want to book a professional make-up artist or develop your own personal make-up skills, Sheila is committed to providing you with what you need to look and feel beautiful! Due to popular demand, Sheila expanded her make-up artist business to include her own line of custom designed professional makeup, GlamKits™, brushes, and skin care products. Sheila’s objective isn't about passing trends, but instead is focused on developing a cosmetic palette that best complements each and every face. Sheila believes that every woman is entirely different and that everyone has qualities that make them unique and beautiful. A woman’s makeup collection should include a basic palette individually tailored to fit her precise skin tone and features. She should be able to confidently and effortlessly transform her look from “nine to five” to “a night on the town” using a professional assortment of essential colors chosen to enhance her own personal style. Whether your getting ready for a day at the office, creating impressive effects for a holiday soirée, or fine-tuning with the season’s change, Sheila’s makeup collection of carefully matched hues in a set while help you look your best regardless of the occasion.!
On a personal note…When Sheila is not working she enjoys reading, visiting her daughter Kourtney in Dallas, attending church and traveling with her husband, Moses, daughter, Skylar and son Crew.
